<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
In order to fix this issue follow the steps below, before installing visual c++ 2015. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-size: large;"><u><i><b>Note:</b></i></u><i><b> </b></i></span>If you already have windows 7 service pack 1 operating system (or) updated windows 7 to service pack 1, skip step 1 and move to step 2.</div>
<br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><u><b>Solution:</b></u></span><br />
<br />
1. Download and Install Windows 7 SP 1 update from Microsoft website which is about 500MB for 32-bit and ~900MB for 64-bit windows.<br />
<ul style="text-align: left;">
<li>For 32-bit Users : Download <a href="https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=5842" target="_blank">Windows6.1-KB976932-X86.exe</a> </li>
<li>For 64-bit Users : Download <a href="https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=5842" target="_blank">Windows6.1-KB976932-X64.exe</a> </li>
</ul>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEizQjxwThINkrPpkn2DABC07MgM3Hb0MFoT_QgBzrIFUHVPDrvNLng7OtSyl0L6AvlVNHrGPz8gIC3MhG5MltzRiBWB1LJFc3I__JhyA8bMKIZhyBELMM7JwQ-QIbMzgsEMUBUy5sY509Q/s1600/pic0.bmp" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="366" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEizQjxwThINkrPpkn2DABC07MgM3Hb0MFoT_QgBzrIFUHVPDrvNLng7OtSyl0L6AvlVNHrGPz8gIC3MhG5MltzRiBWB1LJFc3I__JhyA8bMKIZhyBELMM7JwQ-QIbMzgsEMUBUy5sY509Q/s640/pic0.bmp" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
Once you have updated Windows 7 to service pack 1 successfully, move to the second step.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgxbDHWbC2RGePI8E_HfN-h37bID03XA9WwefjQlnDR-iusgpLlfOTIEl9o9rXUroAdZRQJ9PClIIwpCHFiLPD4dEVy7Rmdt067IWwBfBFF4cK6YwlIZb-BV_rq1XX3_V4CrByGScG3aXg/s1600/6-sp1-installed.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="208" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgxbDHWbC2RGePI8E_HfN-h37bID03XA9WwefjQlnDR-iusgpLlfOTIEl9o9rXUroAdZRQJ9PClIIwpCHFiLPD4dEVy7Rmdt067IWwBfBFF4cK6YwlIZb-BV_rq1XX3_V4CrByGScG3aXg/s400/6-sp1-installed.png" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
<div>
2. Install Universal C Runtime update KB2999226.msu <br />
<ul style="text-align: left;">
<li>For Win 7 SP1 32-bit users : <a href="https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=49077" target="_blank">KB2999226 X86</a></li>
<li>For Win 7 SP1 64-bit users : <a href="https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=49093" target="_blank">KB2999226 X64</a></li>
</ul>
3. Now install Visual C++ Redistributable package 2015.</div>
<div>
<ul style="text-align: left;">
<li>For Win 7 SP1 32-bit users : <a href="https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=48145" target="_blank">vc_redist.x86.exe</a></li>
<li>For Win 7 SP1 64-bit users : <a href="https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=48145" target="_blank">vc_redist.x64.exe</a></li>
</ul>
<span style="font-size: large;"><u><i><b> </b></i></u></span></div>
<div>
<span style="font-size: large;"><u><i><b>Note:</b></i></u></span> If you receive error while installing Win 7 SP1, uninstall all the windows updates including the security and hotfix updates and then try to install Win 7 SP1.</div>

<div style="text-align: justify;">
<b>R</b>ecovering files from a bad sector hard disk is not an easy job especially the files allocated in bad sectors are not readable and also recovering the corrupted files are time consuming. In this tutor, I use a freeware called Unstoppable copier which is simple and compact program that truly recovers every byte of information that is available for recovery. Directly recovering files from within Windows is not suggested using the above freeware since some file contents might not be readable. Instead using this freeware in a virtual OS or DOS mode gives full advantage over the hard disk.</div>
<br />
1. Download <b><a href="http://www.hirensbootcd.org/download/">Hiren's BootCD</a></b> and extract the archive and Burn the image file to a CD.<br />
<br />
2. Boot your PC with Hiren's BootCD by setting boot priority in BIOS menu.<br />
<br />
3. Select and Enter the option "<b>Mini Windows XP</b>" from the menu.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<b>T</b>he <i>ntdll.dll</i> error comes under many programs and their cause is different in each case. Especially while running a very old program/software/game with new versions of x64-bit type Windows may pop-up this error.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhDpwBNzJ_cLICkTJDPDPtX4Soe6iOjCp6MAFZg7mSREXgzRVvHjZMiEPRWpGpZBp1JK2XPr1XZvBGd3QXldiw3wMT3zdzqe2L4_iNpcytLhOQknvhygBtNK2fhM_uPSh2SXf5Od-ZYHJU/s1600/screen_edit.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="342" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhDpwBNzJ_cLICkTJDPDPtX4Soe6iOjCp6MAFZg7mSREXgzRVvHjZMiEPRWpGpZBp1JK2XPr1XZvBGd3QXldiw3wMT3zdzqe2L4_iNpcytLhOQknvhygBtNK2fhM_uPSh2SXf5Od-ZYHJU/s400/screen_edit.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Here the Developer Studio in Compaq visual fortran v6.x calls this file(ntdll.dll) directly from Windows for Native application interface. This file has been heavily patched in Windows Vista and 7 due to underlying vulnerability and security risks in earlier versions of Windows (NT, Xp) and so it does not provide full functionality over other software which handles it before and hence the application crashes. Now a days many Windows applications and software vendors incorporate Native application libraries within their products rather directly calling from windows.</div>
<br />
<span style="background-color: #93c47d;"><b><span style="font-size: large;">Possible Solutions:</span></b></span><br />
1. Change the compatibility mode to Earlier versions of Windows and set Privilege level to Administrator.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjCdykjLz5zUtgZsDe68azOXMYsmidHScoRfJFqE3vREmVUCz46rVbdXrPx9_vg4Ve0n3yI5XEWHOFAECCCvS_nQlu1R2INchC7KJ1rpxiDzYYwEf7basc2bnW2wKswWg5mggokgl-A630/s1600/devel.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjCdykjLz5zUtgZsDe68azOXMYsmidHScoRfJFqE3vREmVUCz46rVbdXrPx9_vg4Ve0n3yI5XEWHOFAECCCvS_nQlu1R2INchC7KJ1rpxiDzYYwEf7basc2bnW2wKswWg5mggokgl-A630/s400/devel.png" width="282" /></a></div>
<br />
2. Disable User account control in Windows Vista and 7.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhqv2HPEznbfy9JkdusO-Xu7YGAmXjiqzOmd0YVf2l2e-aLdx1M3Nkrcandch6MTudCALCQDxRckw9FVYoKNepnfoKCK8YA00XOClE334984nXebhyphenhyphenYHOQe5P2e82fb_ob2Jde-tqvXKBg/s1600/user1.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="307" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhqv2HPEznbfy9JkdusO-Xu7YGAmXjiqzOmd0YVf2l2e-aLdx1M3Nkrcandch6MTudCALCQDxRckw9FVYoKNepnfoKCK8YA00XOClE334984nXebhyphenhyphenYHOQe5P2e82fb_ob2Jde-tqvXKBg/s400/user1.png" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
3. Disable Program Compatibility Assistant in Windows Vista and 7.<br />
<ul style="text-align: left;">
<li><a href="http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/4161/disable-program-compatibility-assistant-in-windows-7-and-vista/">For Professional, Ultimate and Enterprise Users</a> </li>

</ul>
</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="background-color: #ea9999;"><u><b>Note:</b></u></span> This error cannot be fixed in cases like if you are using 2nd or 3rd Generation CPU's (i3/i5/i7) regardless of Windows Vista/7 (x86/x64 bit).</div>

<div style="text-align: justify;">
<b>S</b>ending a video file over an e-mail is restricted to only about 25MB in Gmail, Yahoo mail and about 50MB in Hotmail. By splitting a video file into two or more files, we can it send over an e-mail. But splitting the original video files with video editors would lead to loss in video/audio quality. Here I suggest a freeware for splitting, loss-less compressing and merging the video files for sending over an e-mail as an attachment within 11MB.</div>
<br />
<span style="background-color: #93c47d;"><span style="font-size: large;"><u><b>Solution:</b></u></span></span><br />
1] Download and install <b><a href="http://www.filehippo.com/download_7zip/">7-Zip file archiver</a></b>.<br />
2] Now Right click over a video file which you need to split > select <b>7-Zip</b> > select <b>Add to archive</b>.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjEQB8AOoN4O9clpyLTWMOhx-LJpkzjREGD5vcV6CC13MXeV0oJC4WFeh5LHI_BP-ERN8MIMdABnzo11gqtKzkDwH2MR6Al5iqm3L7TXDIoCjjMgY0kwR-UvX4OjD78qvcSKv8CkYJkAgA/s1600/7z_1.bmp" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="208" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjEQB8AOoN4O9clpyLTWMOhx-LJpkzjREGD5vcV6CC13MXeV0oJC4WFeh5LHI_BP-ERN8MIMdABnzo11gqtKzkDwH2MR6Al5iqm3L7TXDIoCjjMgY0kwR-UvX4OjD78qvcSKv8CkYJkAgA/s400/7z_1.bmp" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
3] Now set <b><i>Compression level</i> </b>as<b> Store</b> and choose <b>10MB</b> from the <i><b>Split to volumes, bytes</b></i> box > click <b>Ok</b> button to split and compress the video file into several parts based upon the original size.</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg_-Opnl_VEH598kX_r4DJAV2Pnzj-PeAW9H_13oBn8bZ_d4rWmkPCiVlcb4mOOErDlyHdRDxSL_MkU9wt3ia15bPy39mUFxbZNgzukXV7EX2PgQESSXf5dD5f0z9lZX83MAeC4h_KNH6k/s1600/spit.bmp" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="352" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg_-Opnl_VEH598kX_r4DJAV2Pnzj-PeAW9H_13oBn8bZ_d4rWmkPCiVlcb4mOOErDlyHdRDxSL_MkU9wt3ia15bPy39mUFxbZNgzukXV7EX2PgQESSXf5dD5f0z9lZX83MAeC4h_KNH6k/s400/spit.bmp" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
4] The resulted file<b> </b>types will be stored as 001, 002, 003 and so on.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgLRZY5JcB1A9S7GQQbYXqHlf4rak967PzV-jqBEkij57sySDpzEdHzh5WCrIE2wjvYEXqhMG57NsAKZGKMh2QkukfTEaUY4dKoQkacWTt6BH01BxMMSYzn9EybDhc4CGlBBnSuzL0flVA/s1600/final.bmp" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="200" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgLRZY5JcB1A9S7GQQbYXqHlf4rak967PzV-jqBEkij57sySDpzEdHzh5WCrIE2wjvYEXqhMG57NsAKZGKMh2QkukfTEaUY4dKoQkacWTt6BH01BxMMSYzn9EybDhc4CGlBBnSuzL0flVA/s640/final.bmp" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
5] So if a person receiving these files over an e-mail will need a similar file archiver like 7-Zip, Winzip, Peazip, Winrar etc for merging these files.<br />
<br />
<b>For Merging/Joining the splitted video files (7z.001, 7z.002, etc)</b><br />
6] Just right click the first file 001 > select 7-Zip > select Extract here option.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgAlAE4yLOewgKjjLfkoZMUimdhM1V-SjQXG5TVtRbmFaMxRkWaVInt7LQeVDFZ6uZiBePQOHI8erq5VWRryb3rM6KqxtXBR__SRZBB0esPWEchrSStxeAdpyHkh5qelw2fhdUmfU4WRpQ/s1600/join.bmp" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="207" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgAlAE4yLOewgKjjLfkoZMUimdhM1V-SjQXG5TVtRbmFaMxRkWaVInt7LQeVDFZ6uZiBePQOHI8erq5VWRryb3rM6KqxtXBR__SRZBB0esPWEchrSStxeAdpyHkh5qelw2fhdUmfU4WRpQ/s400/join.bmp" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: left;">
7] The resultant combined video f<span style="font-size: small;">ile<span style="font-size: small;"> w<span style="font-size: small;">ill be </span></span></span>the original video file (of same size) without loss of quality.</div>
<br />
<span style="background-color: #ffd966;"><u><b>Note1:</b></u></span> You can also encrypt the archive by setting a password in the <i><b>Add to archive box</b></i>.<br />
<span style="background-color: #ffd966;"><u><b>Note2:</b></u></span> This method is simple and effective for the file types like <b><i>flv</i></b>, <i><b>mpeg-4</b></i>, <i><b>avi</b></i> etc. <br />

<b>T</b>his error occurs while installing/extracting a large or highly compressed file.<br />
<br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><b><span style="background-color: #f1c232;">Reason:</span></b></span><br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<b>I</b>f there is no enough free space to extract or install, it fails to write the files on the disk and hence it pop-ups this error. </div>
<br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><b><span style="background-color: #6aa84f;">Solution:</span></b></span> <br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<b>M</b>ake sure that you have atleast free space of 15+ (or) 20+ GB in your drive where you want to install and run. The free space may differ from file to file based on the file compression technique.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
If your file is an ultra highly compressed one, it requires more free space to be extracted. Similarly if your file is compressed just using store method then it requires very less space to be extracted.</div>
<br />
<b><span style="color: #cc0000;">Example</span></b><br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
If a 20GB file is compressed under the size of 5GB, then you can calculate the free space for its extraction (+) the additional free space for your operating system to run (+) the system page-file size.</div>

<br />
<span style="background-color: #f1c232; font-size: large;"><b>Reason:</b></span><span style="background-color: yellow;"> </span><br />
<b>T</b>his hard disk error commonly occurs in most probably the Dell desktops. When I search for the exact reason behind this error I found that it was not due to hard disk but with the device controller which is set default and hidden in BIOS. Most options in BIOS are fixed and cannot be changed due to some restrictions by Dell. Even the S.M.A.R.T capability function is hidden and enabled in BIOS settings. I don't know why they give this much restrictions to BIOS. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<b>F</b>irstly I warn every users that running a PC with fixed BIOS settings such as fixed device controllers for all hard disks, fixed CPU fan speed, fixed core clock frequency, fixed FSB speed may damage any peripheral devices that are connected to motherboard. This was the same happens to the Hard disk. Why I'm saying this actually the error contained hard disk works very fine when I connect to Gigabyte motherboard through SATA port with device controller as IDE and with disabled S.M.A.R.T capability function.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<b>S</b>econdly, the <b><a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/S.M.A.R.T.">S.M.A.R.T</a></b> function is a self-monitoring tool which logs read/write errors in hard disk. Although this is useful but it decreases the overall performance of the hard disk since every time hard disk sends signal to this tool for logging an event while reading/writing a sector. If this function is enabled, there is a risk of data loss while power goes off. Still if you are more curious about monitoring your hard disk there are numerous real-time monitoring softwares available in net where you can freely download and install it in your OS.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<b>T</b>hirdly, the Operating systems like Vista, 7 are highly unstable in Dell Inspiron desktops because of incompatible device controllers and chipset drivers. Even though Windows Vista and 7 supports <b><a href="http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/io/serial-ata/ahci.html">AHCI</a></b> (Advanced Host Controller Interface) mode, it is not necessary for desktop purposes. They are very useful for servers where a continuous read/write access (heavy load) is involved in hard disks. By default it is likely enabled in Inspiron desktops and increases the wear and tear for hard disks.<b> </b><br />
<br />
<b>F</b>inally, I've formulated a temporary and a permanent solution for saving the hard disk life. The entire solution may differ from hard disk to hard disk and PC to PC.<b> </b><br />
<br />
<b><span style="background-color: #6aa84f; font-size: large;">Solution:</span> </b><br />
<b>T</b>his error clearly indicates partially bad sectors in the Hard Disk. So in order to verify and confirm the presence of bad sectors, chkdsk command line tool comes in handy using recovery console<b>.</b></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<u><b>To access recovery console in Windows Vista/7:</b></u></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Restart your PC > press F8 key before start-up > select Repair Your Computer > select your language for keyboard layout and click ok > type password for your account and click ok.<br />

Then open Command Prompt window from Recovery Console.<br />
<br />

<br />
<u><b>To access recovery console in Windows XP:</b></u><br />
Boot your PC with XP Installation disk > press R key to use recovery console from the installation screen when it prompts.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhcxL9aehtmYmqCmmQTOpTug2zHi59PTkmGePq41hDTy9akLIoxUyRnS4VWvosGPrlQQXbaHaw02b-9r4IpPcAVeSjiotUFyISZXJcid4sTY1b0pyJ1lx4I5j57Bwj2Znswd8KNO9BrkV4/s1600/s2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="303" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhcxL9aehtmYmqCmmQTOpTug2zHi59PTkmGePq41hDTy9akLIoxUyRnS4VWvosGPrlQQXbaHaw02b-9r4IpPcAVeSjiotUFyISZXJcid4sTY1b0pyJ1lx4I5j57Bwj2Znswd8KNO9BrkV4/s400/s2.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
Now in the Command prompt window, type the command as follows and hit Enter key after each:<br />
<ul>
<li><b>CHKDSK C: /R</b></li>
<li><b>Y</b> (if it prompts to dismount the volume first)</li>
</ul>
The /f switch sometimes fail to display bad sectors and hence /r switch is more effective and also it tries to repair bad sectors. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<ol>
<li>If the above command displays some KB in bad sectors and also displays "<i>Failed to fix the errors/bad sectors on hard disk</i>", then it is confirmed that the hard disk is really at a failing stage. It is necessary to replace the hard disk within the warranty period. If you would like to extend the life of the hard disk then read my post on <b style="color: #cc0000;"><a href="http://jai-fixyourpc.blogspot.in/2011/09/how-to-fix-bad-sectors-in-your-hard.html">How to fix bad sectors using Hiren's boot CD.</a></b> </li>
<li>If the above command does not display any KB in bad sectors but still displays <i>"Failed to transfer logged messages to event log with the status 50"</i> again, then try to change the device/storage controller for the hard disk from ATA to IDE (or) AHCI to IDE (or) IDE to RAID in BIOS settings. Also try to disable S.M.A.R.T capability function and if the BIOS is restricted as in case of Dell Inspiron PC's then reinstalling a new OS by deleting the partition is the alternate solution. </li>
<li>If Windows Vista/7 does not boot up after reinstalling it, then try to install XP at first in a new volume and then reinstall Windows Vista/7 in a different volume. This was the second alternate solution for the above.</li>
</ol>
<u style="background-color: red; color: #ffd966;"><b>Caution!</b></u> There is a risk of data loss while fixing bad sectors and deleting partition, so backup your data.</div>

<span style="font-size: small;"><b>I</b></span>n general a Basic disk with MBR partition table can support<br />
<ul style="text-align: left;">
<li><b>4 MBR Primary partitions</b>. Here u can install upto 4 operating systems in each partition like Windows XP in partition0, Vista in partition1, Se7en in partition2 and Ei8ht in partition3 where the Earlier versions must be installed first. </li>
<li><b>3 MBR Primary partition and 1 Extended partition with 128 Logical volumes in the extended partition.</b> Here it is safe to install more than 4 operating systems including Linux based operating systems like Ubuntu, Fedora, RedHat etc.</li>
</ul>
If your hard disk is already partitioned into 4 MBR primary partition, it is necessary to delete one partition so that it can be extended upto 128 logical volumes. Backup your data to other volume before deleting a partition.<br />
<br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><b><span style="background-color: #6aa84f;">Solution:</span></b></span> <br />
1] Download <b><a href="http://www.ubuntu.com/download/desktop">Ubuntu LiveCD</a></b> and burn the image file to a CD to make it a bootable one.<br />
<br />
2] Boot the PC with this CD by setting priority in your BIOS menu or Boot options @ startup.<br />
<br />
3] Choose the option "<b>Try Ubuntu without making changes to your Hard Disk</b>".<br />
<br />
4] Go to<b> Administration</b> > <b>Preferences</b> > <b>GParted</b>.
<br />
<br />
5] It will display all empty free space as <b>Unallocated</b> in grey color. If you have already installed 4 primary partitions, you must delete one partition in order to have unallocated space for creating an extended partition.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhdEgS7K1ed7STw811t-lwAofFmjVO9cOGdVbJK542UpdDXFe4zH8vPj8GiZe7NBeqRhZ23j7gD0Xv8tr6z9_Th2neAU2Sj_qg8nEh2XYUTkAFW_OsYMeD9pjZPh2KqkvcISNMt-nV1yV8/s1600/Screenshot-2.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="270" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhdEgS7K1ed7STw811t-lwAofFmjVO9cOGdVbJK542UpdDXFe4zH8vPj8GiZe7NBeqRhZ23j7gD0Xv8tr6z9_Th2neAU2Sj_qg8nEh2XYUTkAFW_OsYMeD9pjZPh2KqkvcISNMt-nV1yV8/s400/Screenshot-2.png" width="400" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<br />
6] Right click on <b>Unallocated partition</b> > <b>Create New Partition</b> > <b>Create as Extended Partition</b> > Click<b> Add </b>button.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiIpIbWsekcN5Iq34fFV3ITFCADuvS45fJqhqedS_IROOtT4AfZ9b_i8PGeqYqicoRdc-mvEYitvk3KUX4MUH8xPhWKIIGQSOmLjmu37436raUiugzRTVK1TwlOh3B3RnX7B03GxNAKLKY/s1600/Screenshot41.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="195" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiIpIbWsekcN5Iq34fFV3ITFCADuvS45fJqhqedS_IROOtT4AfZ9b_i8PGeqYqicoRdc-mvEYitvk3KUX4MUH8xPhWKIIGQSOmLjmu37436raUiugzRTVK1TwlOh3B3RnX7B03GxNAKLKY/s400/Screenshot41.png" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
7] Now Click <b>Apply all</b> <b>operations</b> button to complete the process. This also can be done after completing all the steps. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi4DtcNDvB7u7ZdxxKk2JOhUoBEP8h5rDuCPtnEfdtr-CM74yQjNKJyPaPU8IOwjBcpHeCgsxmKqtqeY7-8Bc9U97yBswrETENL6Q2PDmHSyZZH-Gaqr5OOYf9beNME3S4DOmIJmL95AYQ/s1600/Screenshot5.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="270" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi4DtcNDvB7u7ZdxxKk2JOhUoBEP8h5rDuCPtnEfdtr-CM74yQjNKJyPaPU8IOwjBcpHeCgsxmKqtqeY7-8Bc9U97yBswrETENL6Q2PDmHSyZZH-Gaqr5OOYf9beNME3S4DOmIJmL95AYQ/s400/Screenshot5.png" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
8] Now Right click on <b>Unallocated</b> under <b>Extended File system</b> > <b>Create New Partition</b> > set <b>Create as Logical Partition</b> and set the <b>File System</b> <b>as ntfs</b> and allocate your <b>New Size in MB</b> by reducing it > Click <b>Add</b> button.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEggVT2lglGJyURh47wh9-n8wGZwK27OH0lVy0v6x900kaenJZB7p5DSiXXI62uTtjbJ06GAbVJmsQsdWIQEZx1REd4yEi-2WN-0BE9-wrd85pCqXWzBgZiC_VUGhKSWdJSajxTDkvzEwvg/s1600/Screenshot6.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="196" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEggVT2lglGJyURh47wh9-n8wGZwK27OH0lVy0v6x900kaenJZB7p5DSiXXI62uTtjbJ06GAbVJmsQsdWIQEZx1REd4yEi-2WN-0BE9-wrd85pCqXWzBgZiC_VUGhKSWdJSajxTDkvzEwvg/s400/Screenshot6.png" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
9] Like this your remaining Unallocated space under <b>Extended File system</b> can be divided upto 128 Logical Volumes including the above.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjRw-kxUC8Wb50rl1y_aqMsx9AdzarG1_Xz95Rrk8epwx6Ie0rQ9FjSuIhEsFM98mqSDXQj85X2KNM_GUvFe-4IlDsRVLXYEL64aUoCh6RYLVfgO_KlBrD76nQyOEBRK4lZOpcJXEGOlqk/s1600/Screenshot7.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="268" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjRw-kxUC8Wb50rl1y_aqMsx9AdzarG1_Xz95Rrk8epwx6Ie0rQ9FjSuIhEsFM98mqSDXQj85X2KNM_GUvFe-4IlDsRVLXYEL64aUoCh6RYLVfgO_KlBrD76nQyOEBRK4lZOpcJXEGOlqk/s400/Screenshot7.png" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
10] After all Click <b>Apply all operations</b> button to complete the process.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjJWRyI8nhFp4fhT41TKURUHgSQMfRpffnKNsIM_slUJd-mwqRDXUpL7FB3l1ItPLibI2cvkVpZNbmKqgrXzOnyhv7O-2zhyphenhyphen4SmF5faGYMPeP9HlbMYFFRZ66J79FyaWPgjjK2zFhL4TUs/s1600/image91.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjJWRyI8nhFp4fhT41TKURUHgSQMfRpffnKNsIM_slUJd-mwqRDXUpL7FB3l1ItPLibI2cvkVpZNbmKqgrXzOnyhv7O-2zhyphenhyphen4SmF5faGYMPeP9HlbMYFFRZ66J79FyaWPgjjK2zFhL4TUs/s1600/image91.png" /></a></div>
<br />
11] Once completed Restart your PC and take the Ubuntu LiveCD out.<br />
<br />
12] After rebooting into Windows you can check using Disk Management utility.<br />
<br />

<u style="background-color: #f1c232;"><b>Note1:</b></u> In some cases by default <i><b>System Reserved</b></i> Volume was created during Windows installation and act as a primary partition. In order to avoid this unnecessary primary partition, delete this partition using GParted Ubuntu LiveCD. So that you can have a complete usage of four MBR primary partitions.<br />
<br />
<u style="background-color: #f1c232;"><b>Note2:</b></u> May or may not loss of data occurs during partition. So that backup your data to other external hard disks before partition.</div>

<div style="text-align: justify;">
If you open Device Manager, an yellow mark is indicated in network adapters section and will display as Unknown device. Even if you install the driver that comes with the CD, an error message popups saying "<span style="color: #0b5394;">Driver was not successfully installed</span>" or "<span style="color: #0b5394;">Windows could not find driver for this device</span>".</div>

<div style="text-align: justify;">
For these cases, a correct device driver from the manufacturer website must be downloaded and installed. </div>

<b><span style="font-size: large;">Solution:</span></b><br />
1] Download <b><a href="http://halfdone.com/ukd/">Unknown Devices v1.4.20</a></b> and extract the archive.<br />

<div style="text-align: justify;">
[<b style="background-color: yellow;">Last Updated Dec 27, 2012</b>] <br />
I have updated my graphics driver and when I try to update the Vtune overclocker; no newer version was found. All searches regarding Vtune results in vain instead it is redirected to Intel-Vtune always. Even the <a href="http://www.palit.biz/palit/download.php?lang=en">Palit Microsystems, Inc.</a> stops distributing this tool since it is discontinued by the developer but a new tool was released naming ThunderMaster. It was such an disappointment to all nVidia Vtune users. Either way I have a backup of Vtune tool which saves my all work.</div>
<br />
<b><a href="http://www.mediafire.com/?f88028pqdv3q2kc">Download Vtune v7.21.0.0</a></b> [compatible for XP, Vista and 7]<br />
<span style="font-size: large;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-size: large;"><b>ThunderMaster Vs Vtune:</b></span><br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br />
<div style="text-align: left;">
<b>Tools Used :</b> ThunderMaster, Vtune</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<b>Platform:</b> Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<b>CPU:</b> Intel Pentium D @ 3.00GHz</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<b>GPU:</b> nVidia GeForce 8400GS 512MB DDR2</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<b>RAM:</b> 1.5 GB Dual channel</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<b>HardDisk:</b> Western Digital Caviar 160GB SATA</div>
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
At the first, the Thunder Master overclocker tool gives only little information about the graphics chip whereas the Vtune overclocker gives all the information including graphics card, current monitor resolution, keyboard driver, USB driver and the computer. This is not an important factor now but anyhow it is an useful factor.</div>

<b>S</b>econdly the most important factor is the overclocking procedure. Thunder Master tool has only two adjustments; one for graphics clock with negative and positive values; another for memory clock with negative and positive values. I don't know why they are giving this negative values for overclocking may be it is for underclocking the GPU speed.</div>

<div style="text-align: justify;">
<b>I</b>n actual, the minimum and maximum clock value settings are fixed for the graphics cards while manufacturing itself. So that we can tweak in-between values for overclocking and underclocking while running multimedia applications, games etc which needs high parallel processing power. But the options given in Thunder Master is unacceptable negative values that cannot be tweaked which may results in a hardware failure in future. Since both overclocking tools were tested on same graphics card with same platform, choosing the right tool is necessary in this case for the graphics card life.</div>

<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
For this we have to use registry editor indirectly without encountering this BSOD error. For Windows 7 users their setup or recovery disc comes in handy for help. Also the operating system itself has inbuilt Start-up repair utility if PC crashes suddenly where it then proceeds to advanced options even it fails to fix it. But for XP users the only option is by using offline Registry Editors which are available in the internet world where anyone can download it for free. Among them I suggest a freeware utility here which can be used by both XP, Vista and 7 users.</div>
<br />
<b><span style="font-size: large;"><span style="background-color: #6aa84f;">Solution:</span></span></b><br />
<i>[Last Updated on July 14, 2012]</i><br />
<br />
<b>I. Using Registry Editor from Recovery Console: (for Vista/7 Users)</b><br />
1] Press F8 key before Start-up screen appears.<br />
2] Select Repair Your Computer from Advanced Boot Options.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh2c7aSnuf3-kZz_BZGCUucwOUyjCKaRBHcqkGpeDQ9DaOpwAgMOBpUx7d7RU9hwFV6OoSMNxxVHf-a2__1Oh5ciIL25iIJnefrsJXu_bGQjj4rG4x2ENkacjb7WkLU2e9SPjZ2n0NbXVo/s1600/s1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh2c7aSnuf3-kZz_BZGCUucwOUyjCKaRBHcqkGpeDQ9DaOpwAgMOBpUx7d7RU9hwFV6OoSMNxxVHf-a2__1Oh5ciIL25iIJnefrsJXu_bGQjj4rG4x2ENkacjb7WkLU2e9SPjZ2n0NbXVo/s400/s1.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />3] Select your language for keyboard layout. In the next window, Type the password for your User account. Now select <b>Command Prompt</b> from <b>System Recovery Options</b> tool.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhMt1bbo4hMm3ODGl8eLdSoFkFbEEYYEd80fY_1lzjyJuZLnt0M8y23XfJYIs7xo_tIyzZWR3rP_9oMnhrV7sDnwAb8EpjHAJSCc8S5fhG7R-oeQZExaK6JDorEZ-yImD0xTE7vYL761pg/s1600/s2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="298" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhMt1bbo4hMm3ODGl8eLdSoFkFbEEYYEd80fY_1lzjyJuZLnt0M8y23XfJYIs7xo_tIyzZWR3rP_9oMnhrV7sDnwAb8EpjHAJSCc8S5fhG7R-oeQZExaK6JDorEZ-yImD0xTE7vYL761pg/s400/s2.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
4] At the command prompt window, type the command "<b>regedit.exe</b>" and hit Enter key,<br />
<ul style="text-align: left;">
<li> X:\Sources\Windows\System32><b>regedit.exe</b></li>
</ul>
<br />
<b>II. Using Registry Editor from Hiren's BootCD: (for XP/Vista/7 Users)</b> <br />
1] Download <b><a href="http://www.hirensbootcd.org/download/">Hiren's BootCD</a></b> and make a bootable CD by burning the iso image.<br />
2] Boot the infected PC with this CD by changing boot priority in BIOS menu.<br />
3] Select Mini Windows XP option.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjjgacnI6esSDHu-KW7OvUqikAOXwj1vhjxUrsG7cJWVolJOVxWeOyD-8TMqx-mCJ-2GhQhwKkSfbvLjYqA68X9Uu3dCeDWIblQi1XZG4CnIUiHtTpOU0yM5yqhkOQEldfK22tk0KjDG-o/s1600/dos-01-bootmenu.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="220" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjjgacnI6esSDHu-KW7OvUqikAOXwj1vhjxUrsG7cJWVolJOVxWeOyD-8TMqx-mCJ-2GhQhwKkSfbvLjYqA68X9Uu3dCeDWIblQi1XZG4CnIUiHtTpOU0yM5yqhkOQEldfK22tk0KjDG-o/s400/dos-01-bootmenu.png" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
4] After Mini XP is loaded, click <b>Start</b> > <b>Run</b> > type <b>regedit.exe</b> > click <b>OK</b>.<br />
<br />
<b style="background-color: #f1c232;">Registry Editor:</b><br />
5] In the registry window, click and select HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE key.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhbeJf_2ffFGq89PsfOknGG_JLKQwKU1eZEviV7Nxd1CcYPOvmybVGBulsfqsgctA8vDrgWfLavLrQLIBMv8tdBkWS-jBXXPToN9cBexNA8Bovv4ZtZTcJL6JD9wGQn2bUo5n-4zw-2SJU/s1600/hkey.bmp" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="136" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhbeJf_2ffFGq89PsfOknGG_JLKQwKU1eZEviV7Nxd1CcYPOvmybVGBulsfqsgctA8vDrgWfLavLrQLIBMv8tdBkWS-jBXXPToN9cBexNA8Bovv4ZtZTcJL6JD9wGQn2bUo5n-4zw-2SJU/s400/hkey.bmp" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
6] Now click <b>File</b> menu > <b>Load Hive</b> and select <b>SYSTEM</b> file from <b>C:\Windows\System32\config</b> folder and click <b>Open</b>.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiT94baKdQug87CUCbLBRMkEdWXOI-nj4DQzUZmfhBeLowUEv9Z4LnzD3dp4XPmKzDG4F5AZCUK4M10-h9hmmLUjGxMUktdCqZqw7apRwbpEhYat48PdcGJPjRvPRyfuWLiCApnsOkaiWY/s1600/Ur.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="251" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiT94baKdQug87CUCbLBRMkEdWXOI-nj4DQzUZmfhBeLowUEv9Z4LnzD3dp4XPmKzDG4F5AZCUK4M10-h9hmmLUjGxMUktdCqZqw7apRwbpEhYat48PdcGJPjRvPRyfuWLiCApnsOkaiWY/s400/Ur.png" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
7] Now give a name as "<b>newuser</b>" (for example) in the popup text box.<br />
8] Now navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\newuser\ControlSet001\Control\SessionManager\SubSystems and double click "<b>Windows</b>" key in the right pane.<br />
9] Check the string as follows, if not then edit the string as it is given below.<br />
<br />
%SystemRoot%\system32\csrss.exe ObjectDirectory=\Windows SharedSection=1024,20480,768 Windows=On SubSystemType=Windows ServerDll=basesrv,1 ServerDll=winsrv:UserServerDllInitialization,3 ServerDll=<b>winsrv</b>:ConServerDllInitialization,2 ServerDll=sxssrv,4 ProfileControl=Off MaxRequestThreads=16 <br />
<br />
10] The above bold word in the string must be checked specific, if not then edit it.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div style="text-align: justify;">
By luck, if you found to have <b>RegBack</b> folder in <b>C:\Windows\System32\Config\</b> then this was perfect fix. Simply copy all those files which is inside this folder and paste it outside the folder and replace all with same name. Hurray, you have won!</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
</div>
<ul style="text-align: left;">
<li style="text-align: justify;">Also check if there was any *.LOG1, *.LOG2 files in config folder and
don't forgot to delete these since they are the virus programs which
infects the registry files and make us unable to logon by crashing.</li>
<li style="text-align: justify;">These virus LOG files can be easily identified since it does not
have any file type. In actual, all log files have file type as text
document. To verify you can see their file properties.</li>
</ul>
<br />
If you are clueless on how to access this folder without encountering this BSOD error, I suggest some methods here.<br />
<br />

<b><span style="color: #cc0000;">Method4</span></b> <br />
Connecting your internal hard disk to another PC or laptop via <i>IDE/SATA to USB</i> adapter. For more to know read my post on <a href="http://jai-fixyourpc.blogspot.in/2011/10/how-to-use-internal-hard-disk-as.html">How to use internal Hard disk as an external USB device</a>.<br />

<b><span style="background-color: #f1c232;">Using</span><i style="background-color: #f1c232;"> Command prompt</i></b><br />
1. Type <b>cd</b><space><b>C:\Windows\System32\Config</b> and hit Enter key.<br />

4. If it ask for overwrite any existing files (y/n) > type <b>Y</b> and press Enter.<br />
5. If <i><b>all files were successfully copied </b></i>message is displayed, type <b>exit</b> to leave the command prompt and restart Windows.<br />
<br />
Finally, if you couldn't find RegBack folder; thinking that I was wasting your time.<br />
<div>
GO AHEAD! - FORMAT YOUR PC! - INSTALL NEW OS!<br />
<br />
But this is not the end for <b>XP users</b>. Read this <a href="http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;EN-US;Q307545">Microsoft article</a> on How to recover from a corrupted registry that prevents <b>Windows XP</b> from starting.<br />
<br />
Overall, the above choice is my best advice rather than editing registry files directly.<br />
<br />
<u style="color: #a64d79;"><b>Note:</b></u> If you are still interested in editing those registry files, read my post on <a href="http://jai-fixyourpc.blogspot.in/2012/05/stop-c0000135-bsod-error-solved-using.html">STOP: c0000135 error - Solved using Registry Editor</a>.<br />

<u><b>Fix:</b></u><br />
1] Cancel the steam update if it was updating.<br />
2] Open <b>C:\Program Files\Steam</b> and move <i>ClientRegistry.blob</i> file to desktop.<br />
3] Now run Steam.exe.<br />
<br />
<u><b>Note1:</b></u> If problem still exist try moving both <i>ClientRegistry.blob</i> and <i>AppUpdateStats.blob</i> files.<br />
<u><b>Note2:</b></u> Add Steam in firewall to run with administrator privileges.<br />

<b><span style="background-color: yellow;"><i>[Last Updated on 26th June, 2013] </i></span></b> <br />
<u><b>Fix:</b></u> <br />
In order to prevent updating Steam every time when it was loading, follow the simple steps below. <br />
1] Exit Steam if it was running.<br />
2] End AppUpdater.exe process from Task Manager if it was running.<br />
3] Download <b><a href="http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?hozbvgx81cz9iiv">Undead Patch v3.33</a></b><br />
4] Now Extract UnDeadPatch333.rar and copy UnDeadPatch333.exe to <b>C:\Program Files\Steam</b> folder.<br />
5] Run UnDeadPatch333.exe file from the Steam folder.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjyOk9mMrej1Gbhz-HdAwYbLedSndNyFJ9zG40oFdFJdKiu6SP-1paXeaH6la0u4FnUHjRYYSFk48AcJnHucyRJ-9hfW8O_FK5HDxBQXAOaXReh2lYFyNzpUVDHC7P3G6ckN8nyXGwa2wo/s1600/undead.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjyOk9mMrej1Gbhz-HdAwYbLedSndNyFJ9zG40oFdFJdKiu6SP-1paXeaH6la0u4FnUHjRYYSFk48AcJnHucyRJ-9hfW8O_FK5HDxBQXAOaXReh2lYFyNzpUVDHC7P3G6ckN8nyXGwa2wo/s1600/undead.png" /></a></div>
<br />
6] Type y for <i>Qn: Backup "Steam.dll" before patching?</i> and hit Enter to proceed next cmd.<br />
7] Type y for <i>Qn: Prevent Steam from updating patched files?</i> and hit Enter for the process to be done.<br />
<br /><u><b>Note1:</b></u> This patch keeps Steam disconnects from internet permanently and so you cannot login but still you can play games with Steam logon box left open.<br />
<u><b>Note2:</b></u> To revert changes made by this patch delete <i>Steam.cfg</i> file from the Steam folder.</div>
